Nancy Wainscott Whitehead, MS, LPC-A, LCDC
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate · Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor
Hi, I’m Nancy Wainscott Whitehead, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 30 years of experience supporting neurodivergent teens and adults. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and compassion—especially when it comes to mental health, executive functioning, addiction, and relationships.
My approach
I believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. Each person is unique, and that uniqueness deserves to be honored in the counseling process. Whether you’re struggling with autism, ADHD, anxiety, addiction, or relationship dynamics, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood.
Professional background
My professional foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Master’s Degree in Addiction and Mental Health Counseling, both of which inform my practical, evidence-based approach. I am proud to be an honors graduate of Purdue University, where I developed a deep commitment to ethical care and lifelong learning.
